AG Braids

They don't charge premium prices.

Please give examples of how they are over pricing the competition.

last time i went in i wanted some thermal lined Oscar jacobson trousers. they were up for £89.99. i didn't have time to wait so i Baught them from the belfry at 79.99. hot golf were selling them at 59.99 and they refused to price match. on the same day my friend purchased a ping t-shirt for 45.99 for him to see the same t-shirt at the belfry for 38.99 30 minutes later.

that was December 2015. so 13 months ago and decided not to go in again. it seems from posts that they have perhaps changed their approach to sales. so i might pop in.

Amazing that somewhere like the Belfry are doing decent deals. In my experience clubs like that have a significant mark up on your usual retailer.

Wrong assumption.

I have often bought kit from their pro shop and their prices have never been higher than AG and generally are lower.

Forest of Arden is, however, a different story.

Why do AG have a popular price matching policy if they dont ever charge more than the competition?

Didnt say their prices are ridiculous, but particularly on clothing they are certainly not the cheapest.

the belfry are a strange one. a typical example would be my ecco cage golf shoes. they stocked them when they first become available at £160 when most shops sold them at £170. after a few months or so the price on goods tends to drop a little. by almost the end of the shoes line life the shoes are being sold for £115 in a lot of shops. not the belfry. still £160 until their pulled from the shelf or they're sold to a member like me on a closed sale session for £70. very unusual if you ask me
