MD Golf Seve pro 2 Hybrid Irons set...anyone heard/played with these. Reason I ask is that on ebay I noticed a pro shop selling a full set starting bidding at £49.95 brand new and no one has. I come from a mind set that say's if it looks too good to be true it usually is. Are these just end of range that the shop is looking to get rid of? Just seems strange, but i'm tempted to put a bid in and just wanted some advice.

MD Golf tend to get good reviews for quality & price. Retail for that set is £349 isn't it so seems to be a good deal, although I haven't hit them myself?

I do play their Superstrong driver though and love it, would definitely consider them for future purchases.

MD are an understated brand. Not sure I'd be looking at hybrid irons which I guess are to help with ball launch (not heard of them so guessing) but that does seem and unusually low price. My own alarm bells would be ringing but it's your own choice

Thanks fellas, yes Homer the bells are ringing but it seems a genuine sale from a Belton Park Pro Shop. I just can't make up my mind, do I dodge a bullet or miss a bargain.

not sure why the sale either end of range or ordered but never purchased.

As far as I understand it the set is not 'hybrid irons' but a combination of standard irons with hybrids replacing the longer irons. Possibly these - http://www.tonyvalentine.com/acatalog/info_5719.html

Mods, sorry if the link isn't allowed, just trying to help the OP decide if they are a bargain.
