first round - long drive, soctt verplank hits it no where! all of us on here hit our 3 irons further

If anybody asks again how to improve their scores on the forum again they should watch the short game skills shown on this programme, the pitch and run played by the oldies showed how much a better percentage shot was than Ricky Barnes lob shot and is what many of us try and encourage new players to do.
Watch the bunker shot technique over a few times as well and try and copy it.
We may not be able to match their long game but these skills we can easily improve
Glad i recorded it, have to make sure HID doesn't wipe it off

dustin johnson is a monster, but as people say on here distance isnt everything as the other skills challenges really exposed him

Fred Couples 3 long irons were sweeeeeeeeeeet as and a 100yd pitch to 10inches

was really good watching them highlight the players stances and swing, as said above could learn quite a lot from the short game stuff

What was the point of having Wayne Gretzky on this programme?

He wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs and I'd much rather have watched another tour player take part.

God that was dull, thank god for Silent Witness and Emilia Fox @ 9pm!!!

Have a european version with Darren Clarke & Westwood etc and there would be some great banter flying around.

I totally agree, the standard isn't quite what you might expect..... apart from when the cameras show every single shot of Tiger Woods in a tourny and every one is cracking!
