Admired or Ridiculed...... Plonker or Poser??????

why not take it the extra step and get your own personalised buggy?

it does look nice, id have one if i could afford it

Just make sure your used to the remote control before driving it into a pond ;) and at Fifteen hundred quid....that's worth more than my car.

I get embarased using the 10/20/30 yard function on my PK so the remote wouldn't be for me, but if that's what you want, you enjoy.

Are you a Banker by any chance?

And

Does it make a good cup of tea and clean your clubs? If not you could hire a Polish caddy for a year at that price and she would do both and more.

for £1500 I would want it to do all that and more. If it had an expresso machine and a breville sandwich maker in, I would get one like a shot !

Well mixed views as I'd expected but to clarify a couple of points.... I'm not a banker and it didn't cost £1,500, it cost £950 which is still a hell of a lot of money but a price I'm ok in paying bearing in mind the top Powakaddy Lithium is £700!

I've seen two people use them before who were both complete knobs but I don't think you have to be a knob to have one.

Flash bit of gear but I could find better things to splash out on.

to be fair, I like them. If I was going to go for a electric trolley, they would be on the list. They look a solid, quality bit of kit. Do you get a lithium battery as standard? and if so what is the range ?

it does look as though you would have to buy a range rover just to get to the club !!

It does come with a Lithium battery which will easily do 27 holes perhaps even 36 and collapsed it's not much bigger than a Powakaddy.

I think i'm more of a cock than a knob ;) and what would you spend the money on instead?

Personally I'd buy couple of Belly putters. I only have one at the moment but they do get people looking at you funny!! A big hat has worked well for me on the knob front over the years too!!

When I saw these in action I was playing a league match for my club and the two opponents had these in use. Words can not describe how pissed off I was when every time we left the tee these muppets had their hands straight in their pockets to use the remote and then proceeded to try and cut me and my partner up. I stopped taking the apologies as genuine after the 2nd hole but things stopped after the 10th when my 3 wood nearly took one of the trollies out - this time with no apology. I didn't mean to throw my club in that direction it just kinda happened. Not been that wound up on course for a VERY long time though.

I don't hold it against the trolley or do I think bad things about people who would buy one, I struggle to use my Powakaddy properly as I hate lugging the battery around and charging it all the time so these just really don't appeal to me.

A guy at my club has the very same trolley but he has difficulty walking so I can understand him having one but a then 17 year old had one at my other club who is perfectly healthy was walking up the 17th he exclaims "Aww no my trolley is running out of power I might have to push it up the 18th hill" this is why I believe you have to meet a certain standard to have an electric trolley

What makes it different (hopefully better) to justify the price tag?

Lithium battery ? (everyone does them now, youcan even be buy them separately later).
Remote control? (really worth a few hundred more?).
All the extra bits of plastic? (more things to clean the mud off)

Firstly I'd ask how much you charge for grass cutting?

Great bit of kit actually, my mate uses one and it always pisses me off when we leave the green and his trolley just tags along or heads off to the tee of it's own accord.

Wish I had a grand to dispose of :(

Well I've gone and done it but now the doubts are setting in.......

After much deliberation I've ordered one of these beauties, a Stewart Golf X7 Lithium trolley so which of the above is it to be if I was to turn up at the first tee for a knock with you?

I was on a GM trolley test day last year, the general consensus was overpriced, overpriced, overpriced.
