Adizero tour golf shoes. whos got them???

Got the six spikes, never had success with Adidas shoes but pleased to report these fitted well out the box, super comfy and even waterproof , can only imagine the tours to be better

I have just changed the type of spikes, on one of my Adizero tours to see if theres any difference, after all the fuss re the marks they supposedly make on the greens . I hope to try them on the course tomorrow [fingers crossed] will report the results.
The shoes are the most comfy and so far waterproof I've ever had, only problem I've found is they pick up a lot of leaves ETC, hopefully the change of spikes will help. let you know soon. Change your socks more often, you mucky pup.

The wife got me a pair for Christmas in black, which i have not yet worn in anger

Look the business and i can confirm they are comfy as anything i have worn in the living room.

Pleased to report i left no indentations in the shag pile contrary to other reports.

Bought a pair as everyone was raving about them. Wish I hadn't! Not the most comfortable shoe I have work...although I have persevered for 4 or 5 rounds, they still don't want to "give" in one particular spot that rubs a fair deal. Have gone back to my Lunar II's for the time being!

I suffer this on this on my left heel with every single new pair of shoes i have owned.

Try a bit of zinc tape for the hot spot. It will almost certainly prevent any further friction with your skin

That's near enough exactly where they rub...not the heel exactly, but on the inside of my left heel (if that makes sense). When you say stick some zinc tape over the hot spot, how do you mean? On my foot every time I play, or on the shoe itself? And where the hell do I get zinc tape from?!

I had the same problem with my Ecco hybrids , it took a while but now there ok , just persevere try using 2 or 3 strips of micro-pore tape over the rub spot on your heel, until their broke in .

I have a pair of both styles, think the tour are better on loose fairways, but both are fantastic! Paid £70 for tours months ago and thought that was a bargain. Got the 6 spike for 30. Fantastic shoes!!

OK..I will persevere with them for the next few rounds (until I get my new FJ's from Golf Monthly :D)

If I can't walk by the end of the week...I am hunting people down!!

This sort of thing

You can get the heavy duty stuff and it stick very firmly. Also if you already have a blister, pop it, clean it then put this tape over it. The blister will heal underneath after a few days.

I have the tours and I find them more comfortable with the light weight firm insole. Personally if I was going to buy again I'd opt for the 6 spike version due to the debris that gets collected on the 10 spike tours, (they collect more leaves and mud than any other shoe I've worn).

They are comfortable but I wont wear them on soft greens due to the damage caused by the spikes. In the summer it won't be an issue.

Wore the Tours all last season, fantastic shoe and comfy from the very first wear. Did find my foot getting damp towards the end of the year (shoe worn 3 or 4 rounds a week from March to October), and on closer inspection found a very small split where the sole was coming away from the upper. Took them back to AG and have a brand new pair waiting to be used in the coming season.
