I only really wear Adidas and Nike and never had the heel rip on nikes, I like the leather heal bit sounds like it could solve that particular issue for me

American shoe sizes are smaller than uk sizes ,so I would expect you have got american sized shoes .

Definitely have problems with Adidas shoes. I got a pair that fit me, but after a while would hurt my feet. Was hoping they just needed walking in, as they do fit ok.
Ended up wearing two thin socks so they wouldn’t rub my heels. However would still get sore feet through the soles. Put a new pair of insoles in and again not much better. Ok for 9 or 12 holes, but would really not be great on the final few holes.
I got these because they had a lifetime waterproof guarantee. However won’t wear them enough to test it out.
Nike or Footjoy for me again.
