At the weekend I regripped a set of MP30s that I'd been using at the nets at my club. They'd languished in my locker for a while and the original grips had started to perish.
I bought a new set of grips from Gamola and at the weekend I set about regripping the set myself. Oh, I've done the odd driver grip and changed a putter grip or two and last year regripped my daughters half set. But this was the first time I'd done my own full set of irons.
I was out the back of the garden before dark this evening playing a few shots with the Pitching Wedge and 9 Iron. Boy did the new grips feel good.
It is certainly a straight forward task if you've got the gear to hand and the sense of satisfaction is something else when you give them a whirl.
