Hi I'm going up to St. Andrews the weekend 25th Sept. Can anybody recommend some good cheap accomodation, I will have a car so it doesnt have to be too close.

Yeah cheap places or somebody's floor to kip on!

Playing in the UKPCC final at the Eden course on the Sunday and need to find a place to stay. :(

No chance in St Andrews at this time of year so try dundee,
try The West Park Center,The Fort Bar or Jollies decent accomodation and only 15 minutes drive away hope this helps.

You may struggle but anytime I have made a last minute decision to go for a weekend I have always got into a B&B in the town.Expect to pay £45 per person.

Think the website is summit like standrewsbandb.co.uk or the like....use google!

5 Murray Park,Brownlees,Albany Hoose,Clevedon House....hunners of them to choose from and I have yet to stay in a bad one it's only getting in that may be the issue!

I stayed at the Travelodge in Glenrothes which is about 25 minutes from the town. If it was good enough for Lenny Henry .....

And you survived your a lucky man, Glenrothes is twinned with the Gaza Strip. :D

Someone said that if all the women in Glenrothes were laid end to end ...... no-one would be in the slightest bit surprised.

That joke courtesy of Jasper Carrott, circa 1980.

How do you know he stayed there?? :D

There was me thinking he was a Premier Inn man...

Yeah you're right - Premier Inn, Travelodge, all the bloody same to me and you never get the discounted advertised price when you actually book.

The place i stayed in when playing Machrihanish reminded me of the Villa Bella from the Jolly Boys' Outing episode of Only Fools and Horses.
