True or false?! I checked but cant find a definitive answer, anyone here know if Ping demo clubs should have a serial number?

Not sure, don't believe so and realistically why would they need to. The serial numbers are for complete sets of matching irons that are sold to customers. To show authenticity and for security identification if stolen. A demo club therefore would not require it.

Ive owned a couple in the past and Ive not seen a serial number on them

Still good clubs though, but the absence of a serial number does make it harder to know if you have a genuine Ping Product

Thanks Phils! All good, might take a punt then as it is only a 7 iron, Im looking for practice clubs to leave at work after forgetting and leaving my 7 iron and 58* wedge there before a comp last weekend. Was lost without my 58, I play everything from 75 in with it, buffered but it could have been so much better, threw away 5 or 6 shots on the front 9 and lost focus on the back. Wont do that again! Thanks chaps

I got my Callaway irons through Snainton - they ordered them through the Callaway Custom Fit Centre - no serial number on them.

when you forget a club its only right that the club is needed on most holes. sods law !

Believe it. To be fair I use it loads anyway, but that day I was playing pretty well and on holes 1 - 5 and again on 7 if I had it I would have got up and down a few times, instead of my total, which was none. Got disheartened and tried to change the gameplan so I didnt need it, leaving mysef unfamiliar layups and trying to hit greens I would normally be happy getting near. Couple of 7s on the card and goodbye cut! There's always next year, but I aint bringing my clubs to work any more!
