A phone call that's just made my weekend!

Presently walking around in a daze, having not long had a phone call from the Match Secretary at my club, advising that my two best scores from the last three Medals have been good enough for me to qualify for the 'B Championship' Matchplay rounds!!!

I'll surely have the underdog tag, but hope to just enjoy it and learn from the experience. Next Sunday afternoon will come round in no time!!

I have just got back in from the club after receiving a call at 9pm telling me that my net 68 today was good enough to win the second day of the Presidents prize.
Never expected it to win as it was 1.30 when I left this afternoon but the wind and rain took its toll on many players. Went back and had to do the speech etc in front of a packed clubhouse.
