Got my first eagle this evening, a 2 at a short par 4. Drove to the edge of the green and chipped in.
It was just one good hole of many as i also shot 80 for the first time for the medal tees. I scored a nett 62 and the CSS was 68 so in for a good cut.
It all just happened I didnt think too much about anything other than the next next shot.
Getting the "hit it, find it" mentality going just now.

Great news and beware as you wil be cut at the knees (and quite rightly so). Lovely feeling to get an eagle (can't remember my last one!) and even more so chipping in to get it.

Well played but savour it as I don't think you will be shooting 62's for a while once the handicap secretary has finished with you

Firsts in golf you will remember for years to come. You will always look back and smile about it. Everytime you tee it up on that hole your thoughts will be so positive now and you know you can do it once so whats to stop you doing it again!?!?

Keep it going and work hard on lowering your handicap

Ahhh Well done sir, a great shoot.

Use this as your 'go to' focus point when you feel a little wobbly.

I have been cut to 16.6 from 18.4. I wouldnt mind being a nice round 16 by the end of the season.
At what point does the cut change from 0.3 per shot to 0.2 per shot?
