Sorry, but I have to share this with everyone.

Played the front 9 of Chelsfield Lakes last night with a friend. Now admittedly it's not the longest course, it wasn't in a serious competition, there wasn't much pressure on me (although I'd not played golf with him before and he thinks I'm good) and it was a very pleasant evening, but...

I shot level par. 36. GROSS! 5 pars, 2 bogeys and finished with 2 birdies! :) :) :) :)

I can't stop smiling as that's the best 9 holes I've ever played. Ever. Now to replicate it at Westerham on Saturday and get cut big time!

WOOHOO!

Well done Bratty.

I have to agree with AW, having played in your group at Redlibbets there is no way you should be off 15.

Good luck at the weekend and hopefully you get a big cut.

Cheers, all. I'm one of the few golfers I know who badgers the handicap secretary to find ways of getting cut!

I've got the final of the scratch knockout on 21st September too, so don't have to worry about losing shots for that (sorry again, MarineMac! I'll try and win it for you!).

Hopefully down to 12 in time for the club championship in 3 weeks. It's do-able.

Splashtryagain, not sure when I'll be up next, but I'll be looking for a game when I am! I'll try not to bring freak weather conditions this time! ;)

Fella, there is no way you should be off anywhere near 15 and this just goes to prove it!

You're quite right Dave - I reckon 20 minimum!! :D

Chelsfield Lakes is proper easy! Even Murph could muster 30 points around there...
I had 26 for the front 9! :D

And you were perfectly happy to accept my 15 handicap at Cooden, Pieman... and the 8 points I gave the team on the first two holes! ;) Imagine what we could have done with 20! Cheeky ******! ;)
