A Good Read...

When I first got into golf I think I must have bought/received at least 20 books on the subject but there's just one I will always pick up regardless - Harvey Pennick's Little Red Golf Book .

I expect most of you know about this book. For those who don't I wholeheartedly recommend it. The most common sense book on golf there is, IMHO.

(He also wrote one for ladies - the blue coloured one but can't vouch for that...)

Anyone got any other recommendations?

"Ben Hogan's Five Lessons - The Modern Fundamentals of Golf."

Still relevant after all these years. Every pro probably has it stashed, well leafed, on their book shelf.

Got both those for my birthday recently think they are both great!

I can also recommend John Feinsteins books especially Caddy For Life

Caddy for Life is a fantastic read. A tale of commitment & friendship and a terribly sad end. Enough to bring a tear to even the hardest golfer's eye.
