Never thought I would make a post like this but hey what the hell.....

after a year of playing with scores ranging from 108 - 128 normally closer to the 128 today I card a 95.

Happy days.... and cheers to all those who gave me tips on alignment :):):)

Well done Scouser. Is that the first time under 100? Nice going and a nice nut to crack. Before you know it that sub 100 will be a given rather than a nemesis. Many congrats.

Cheers Bob I was at the range last night practising and getting a nice draw occasionally so the advice worked.... there was still the odd wild shot off target but not as bad....(took a video but aint got the balls to post it lol!)

oh and i will settle for another 95 :)

Good scoring there, thats some change. Keep at it and don't get too upset if the next few rounds creep into the 100's again.

I played a team game today and maged 8 pars and nothing worse than double bogey, so I reckon i managed to break 90 of the comp tees although didn't keep a score card to check.

well done things can only get better, dont worry what happens in the winter as its practise for the start of the season. 90 85 80!!!!! next get in

Hello fella, What course did you do it at? I couldn't break 80 for years and then had a 76 and a 77 at Allerton years ago on consecutive days. Thats what tends to happen, hit all around it then smash it. Keep up the good work. You wont break 90 for ages, then have an 86 one day, mark my words.

HAHAH was hoping no one would ask... Yeah it was Allerton but hey its still 18 holes! (just)

Fair play to you, not the 9 hole, but the championship course, I presume!!! hey it could have been worse, when I was playing crap, I used to go to St.Michaels in Widnes to get a good score. Better than Royal Bowring though. To be honest my best at Allerton was the 76, which is still nine over. I went back about 2 years ago thinking I would tear it up, as I'd just gone down to 9, but it spit me out with a 22 over!!! It's not as easy as some people make out. Still, well done though.

Yes the 18 cheeky sod! I prefer to save the term Royal for Kikby (north liverpool)

And did u have to point out the par.... I wont highlight it again lol......

They are talking of opening up St MIchales as a 9 hole but its a long way off

Sorry lar, Yes I've seen the bulldozers on St.Michaels, lets hope they have cleaned the "stream" out.

I'd better shut up now, before I inadvertantly denigrate your round anymore.

I presume you parred the 685 yard par 5 over 2 stretches of water, missing the OOB, in to the prevailing wind, uphill double dog leg 11th???

There, hope that helps.;)
