Yeh played the medal yesterday, the morning guys got the best of the weather. Me, I got a bit of rain, blustery wind, started with an 8 on the par 4 first, lost ball and Tommo still managed to break 80. 79-6=73 CSS70

The good thing is it’s an away score and the 8 is rounded down to a 6 so I’ve hit the buffer again to stay at 5.7. I could just get to 5 this year......Now thats blown it.

Keep plugging away and your scores will come, an 8 is a killer, however you can come back from it with a couple of well timed birdies!

That is pretty tidy play for the other 17 holes. I wouldn't get too concerned with one bad hole especially given the conditions as well. Sounds to me like 5 is well within your grasp

Passed through Gullane late yesterday evening, the flag at the 18th on No1 was lying bent over to about 45°. Nice challenge!
