Well it's been a week since my 6 hours with James, so I'd thought I'd head off down the range.

Most shots had varying degrees of draw, especially with the longer clubs that I've always struggled with. But as I warmed up I was able to find the middle ground and was hitting some fantastic little draws that ended up in the middle of my designated fairway. I wasn't pushing no where near as many as I was during my time with James. So progress.

The occasional bad shot was a fat. But that's not surprising considering the changes that have been made. I even managed to deliberately play a few lovely little fades. So I guess that I'm on my way to shaping the ball almost at will! But hey, let's walk first!

Still not got out for a game since the changes, so nothing to report regarding how it works out there.

All in all, I'll stick with it, my dispersion is better and I was even nailing my 'range' club, a 6 iron MP67. And no, I'm not about to go 'blady' throughout.

Hapless...

I am back able to play from a week on Sat, we should have a game. Syr and I are hoping to play South Winchester soon. I am up to play anywhere as I want to try out some more local courses.

The more weight you have on the front leg at address the lower the ball flight, if you take some of that weight off to get the ball more airborn you need to be careful that you control the swingpath and make sure it comes from the inside..... move the ball back an inch and make sure the hands are forward of the ball at impact.

Soon as you go pear-shaped just go back to the basics with a 9-iron :)
