Nice one Amanda. At least you did it at the start of the more interesting part of the course and not on the dull front nine! Very unusual for that hole to be down wind as it's normally into a gale up the valley from the sea.

Home now Andy but had a lovely time. Agree the back 9 is more interesting and a few interesting risk and reward holes. Think it's the 17th where it's a Par 5 reachable in 2 blows but a hidden green with no margin for error. Went for it on our last day and think I may have scared a few surfers I was so far left :-)

PS The wind was more off the left but I didn't like to brag :-)
 
Forgot about this thread.

Yesterday played our 9th which is a 427 yard par 4. Misled a drive that left me a knocked down 52° wedge (80 or so yards to the middle) which ended up at the back of the green.

And yes it was down wind :D
