I feel we need access to this go fund me page and follow his progress 😂
Is he looking for PGA pro or tour player...

One could be possible with practise to register for the course and do the PAT, the other well let's just say he's dreaming big 😂
He wants to be a touring pro😱😱 teaching pro is possible, with a bit of application he might get to 4, but he wants to earn from tournament golf. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m not sure how to break it to him?
Enough on that...more about me winning the open in 2021👍

Lofty ambitions indeed.. Got to respect the desire but I'd be interested to know how much he time he is putting in to practice even to hit 4 handicap for PGA requirements let alone better. He needs to improve by at least 14 shots surely 😂

If you're nabbing the open I'm taking the US Open always my best chance of a major as I'm a par machine and quite fancy giving a father's day acceptance speech 😊

Fair enough. You can have the us open in 2020, but 2021 is the year of the rod-slam👍👍. Catchy I know 👍
everyone does a 15-single figs YouTube blog, mine is ‘really rubbish 5 handicapper to open champion in 2 years’ 🤣🤣🤣

The enjoy golf one I've had for the last few years simply isn't hacking it...so having slid from 8 to 14 over the last 7 years I think I will have to aim to reduce it again.

Even single figures is looking like a long journey; but I suppose I might as well set out on it 🤔

Turning up at Tandridge off 9 would feel a lot better than winning it with loads of points....I think

More of what I've had since May last year. My average score over 70 rounds is within 2 of handicap, currently off 6. I was on the podium for 6 of the last 8 comps I've played. I'm getting at least one 2 a week, and I've had more eagles in the last year than I had in the previous 5 years, inc 2 in one round.

So what's changed to bring this about? Retirement, and playing at least 8 times a month instead of 2 or 3.

A goal for this year; have a gross round in the 60's. Two under par rounds last year, both 70 - 2 under.

Ambitious that bro, I like it! I wimped out like a wet fart an went for a 2 shot drop.

Be careful not to lose them all before Portugal, could be expensive...

Some (most) would say unattainable, but this year i'll be playing closing to 20 comps than 5. So fingers crossed!

Dad doesn't do HDID either so i'll keep sch tum ;)

In that order
I am having very similar goals. Well, the weightless can't harm me anyway.

As a process I also want o have a lesson a month to keep on top of things. And I finally need to progress from my 9 hole par 3 course to a proper 18, or at least a proper 9. Just have t get consistent enough to make it worth it.

I have a few goals this season, tried to have a few different type of goals so they are not all results based.

Qualify for B class championship
Win a comp
Play some opens
Top 15 order of merit
48% GIR for comp rounds
80% FIR for comp rounds
Birdie every hole over the course of the year
No double digit scores for comp rounds

The main goal is the B class championship. I would need to get down to 15.4 or below from 17.3 by the end of June to qualify. I hope I can do it. I have had some good results at the end of the year, and have managed to iron out some swing faults so far over the winter.

But really at the end of the year as long as I am lower than I started and have enjoyed myself then I'll be happy. With my first child due in April, I'm aware that playing time will not be a free has it has been, so I hope a new perspective of enjoying the time I have will result in lower scores.

Well last year it was to get to 18 and I only got to 20. So same again this year I guess - get to 18 or under. Should be more than possible since I've shot between +11 and +14 in friendly rounds a handful of times back in August/September. Winter golf has been tough though.

Another goal is just to not be absolute gash in the Club Championships. In my two previous years as a member I've done shocking in it, so third attempt, I just want to put a half decent score in for that one. Genuinely both years I had my worst round of the year in round 1 of the club champs, ha.

A small personal goal is just to enter more comps. At times last year I was only entering one a month, but I'd like to try and up it to at least two per month I think. The less comps I was playing the harder it was to get the handicap down of course, if I can up the numbers I should have more chance of putting a decent card in at some point.
