2017 non golf goals

Got to lose the belly.
Went from 12 stone to 14.5 stone in the last 6 years when i started sitting behind a desk.
I don't feel comfortable at this weight so hoping to lose it steady and change some lifestyle habits.

Stay healthy,
Have fun,
Stop getting wound up so easily on here.

Change some lifestyle choices to be more healthy, i.e. Eat better, excersie better and sleep better. Spend more quality time with the family. Play more golf home and away. Pretty standard stuff, we have a wedding in Cyprus in august so won't to be in decent shape, plus I'm now 40 so need to look after myself. Also need to get a ski holiday booked for 2018 as we aren't going this year 😢

Typical get healthier one really. Force myself to make the time to go to the gym and train properly.
I do have a half marathon in March, but doubt I will take part now as nowhere near ready. Running also bores me!

lose a bit of weight ,well ok lots of it.
get back to being able to walk a course instead of having to use a buggy [dam injury]
try and save enough to buy the wife the car she has always wanted ,[and hopefully get my free lander back from her]
she wants a BMW Z3

One of our secretaries has a Z4. Wow! I like the Z3 but the Z4 is a much better beast.

Another one targeting losing weight. Lost 3 1/2 stone in 6 months ten years ago and have gradually put it all back on. I suspect it will be a little harder this time! ... but the first step on the road is Tuesday, when I'm back at work using pedal power.

I'll settle for alive and employed...need the money

I have been trying to retire for a number of years but have bottled taking the final step every time... Have attended a funeral of a couple of good mates the week before and the week following Xmas.. Two good people who were only a few years ahead of me... One of my friends suggested I adopt the view of ceasing work as being unemployment rather than retirement... A change in mind set might just help me make the decision I have been stumbling over...
