2 New Championship courses being built

might be good for you sydney, but why do i, as a UK taxpayer, flinch when i see anything that says "funded by RBS". hope they are not involved in the actual financing of the courses. if so, i want free membership when it opens.

i worked for said bank years ago
they once owned a building that didnt exist cos they couldn't be ar3ed going to look at it...
due diligence eh...?:D

I work 10 miles from here and this is the first I have heard of it??

Not to be a pessimist but 2 new parkland championship courses in the M8 corridor just does not make economic sense. With the state of golf course membership in West Lothian i.e Uphall in administration, Armadale closed, Bridgend in administration/closed and with local competition in the same market of Deer Park and Dalmahoy I can't see this succeeding especially with the catchment area being so small.

I didn't realise that Uphall & Bridgend were in so much bother.

Pity, I like those courses!

I'd rather play golf along the length of the M8, hitting off the tarmac than go back to Dalmahoy. Dreadful course. I also suspect that it won't need much investment or design to be better than Deer Park.
