1st round score on an 18 hole, what was yours ?

144 around Arrowe park muni, was the first proper round with my own clubs etc. probably worst than that before.

I hit a 90, 6 months later after having a hernia operation and the (stupid) doctor saying no work for 4-6 weeks, no sport for 4-6 weeks, but golf was ok after 2 weeks. I was 19 at the time, and the way we think we're indestructable I played 2 rounds every day for 2 weeks. No wonder the hernia never recovered as well - stupid boy that I was.

Can't remember my first score but will never forget the first game on a course, there was 3 of us and we went round in just over 4 hours. It was only a short 9 hole course.

Easy score for me to remember... 111 at Harefield Place [when it was a half decent 'muni']... Took me quite a while to beat that ...

it was around 140 but the one thing i do remember was hitting a ball from some rough and then some fella walking up to me shouting that id just hit his ball, i said sorry and offered him a ball out of my bag which was probably something really rubbish, he looked at it and told me to F off and started ranting about if this was a competion.... i walked up to my actual ball and topped it down the fairway.

I shot 109 round regents park in Bolton, I was 27 at the time.
I used to dabble at the range and the pitch and putt as a kid though.
I never even thought about taking the game up before that day, I just went along with a few mates who played because I had nothing better to do,borrowed some clubs and kinda surprised myself, I thought I did Ok.
I went out the next day and bought everything,and it's cost me a fortune ever since!

My first full round ever I shot 119 then shot 110 on my second round and that was about 10 months ago.... Wish I could shoot that low again LOL ;-)
