1st comp update

Hi everyone,
A bit slow to update you on my first comp, sorry!
Shaking like a leaf on the first I managed to get it reasonably straight, mucked up the putting came out of it with 1 point. 2nd tee felt much more relaxed. After the first nine birdied 1 parred a couple, fatal, now I thought I could win the competition, 2nd nine went completely to cock!! The harder I tried the worse it got, came out of it with 32 points which I thought was respectable, can't wait for the next comp!!!!

I remember my first comp and I did not enjoy it as I was so nervous.

32 points in winter conditions is not a bad score IMHO, and im sure you will continue to progress.

Thats good going mate, at least with a good 1st half you know you've just got to work on your mentality in order to continue the form on the back 9 to be in with a shot next time.

I can't remember my first competition but I remember my first club championship where I didn't break 3 figures for either round. I was a real nervous wreck
