1st 18 of the year....

Played my 1st 18 holes of the year yesterday, - a 7.20am start, - not easy for me, which showed as I skyed my first tee shot, and doubled the 1st.

Woke up finally by the 8th, where my Drive with new 901D3 put me in A1 position, and the first sweet shot of the day, a 7iron to 5', which I duly missed.

Ripped one of my best Drives ever at the 10th, 452yd Par 4, leaving me only a 6iron to the green, so the D3 is definitely the Dogz, and also again at the 14th, nearly driving the green at 289yds.

Crap Front 9 (+7), great back 9 (+3) for a 79 Total, +1 to Handicap.

All in all, quite chuffed really. Really am loooking forward to the season now

I hope you didnt damage the new bat on the first Macster, Bet it felt good to get out. But some good scoring for the first 18 of the year well done mate.

Played my first round yesterday too Macster.
Drove nicely on the majority of holes, just a few duffers. Irons behaved once I'd warmed up.

A fantastic afternoon, felt like I'd never been away. Can't wait to get back on the course again.

It's a grand feeling aint it?

Thankfully, dont use Driver off the 1st, it was with my WarBird 4W, - but for me, t'was a truly awful shot !

That was even after gettin up at 6am, Cup of tea, walk the dog, cup of tea,....and down to the course.
If its before 10am for Golf, I just dont function !

Ive been out a few times and squeezed in 12 or so, and all been well, oir 4pm Thursday rounds will start this week ....Yehhhhhhh
