Good job I was in a good mood today or the course would have been littered with snapped shafts and club heads! I had one of these days, standing over the ball not having a clue where it was going to go. Left, right not got a Scooby Dooby Doo! The more I thought about it or tried to figure it out the worse I hit it including two tops! WTF.

Even managed a couple of thins to round off a rather impressive day of crap golf.

Golf sucks. Might take up cycling full time now, not enjoying this crap season at all. My poor greensomes partner is in for a shock on Sunday!

Trouble is, if you are a single figure golfer hacking it round in ten over, that's no good at all.

Every thing is relative.

I might get my bike back out too, if I shoot worse than 10 over on Saturday.

Have you considered being custom fitted for your clubs? This should remedy the situation.....

10 over is dream world for me but I take where thecraw is coming from. I had a medal round like that a few weeks back. Nothing went right and I had no idea where the ball was going. Soul destroying at the time but you know you'll be back

same as, Homer, my medal 3 weeks ago was utterly abysmal even for a high capper like myself. I am now employing a new strategy of trying to play boring golf :)

In the pub getting pished, that makes me forget about my shite golf. Also got some eye candy in view.

It's only a wee white baw!

I know how you feel, it's been with me a while now, although I can see some light. Shot 72 last weekend at Royal Musselburgh, went to the driving range tonight with a couple of my mates, crack golfers, and I hit three shanks on the bounce. Just what I need with a medal coming up at Dunbar on saturday.

Crawford, you just have to play through it man. You're good enough to work it out.

Shook off the alcohol induced sore head this afternoon and decided to hit the golf course again.

Geeeeez, I wish I hadn't bothered, so blooming depressing is the best way to sum up my crisis of a golf swing. Played the first 2 holes delightfully in -1. Standing on the 6th tee (started at the 4th) pulled out the big dog, boom straight right, biggest block in the world, hack out, pitch on and 3 jabs later I walked off with a double. A knifed pitch at the next resulted in another bogie before a lost ball at 8, a shank out the park at 9, a snap hook off the 10th tee had me close to suicide by this stage, plus the sore heid!

Anyway stood up on the 11th tee and cracked one right down the middle, a peach, good solid wedge and a lip out for birdie, stood up again on 12 and launched another drive. Thinking we're now getting somewhere I them block a 9 iron and miss the green by about 15 yards! Never mind onwards we go, 2 snap hooked hybrids (for safety) off the 13th had no scrabbling about in the trees before picking up again. Onto the 14th, a nailed 5 iron, just over the green, pitch and put for a good par.

Managed to also play the 15th pretty well with a solid 3 wood and a wedge onto the green.

Wonder what Sunday will bring. My golf is in a mess, actually just think my timing is out which is causing the problems, however try working on timing consciously, its difficult!

Yer heed is full ah budgie seed ya rocket. Try my 2 step plan - get a glove on and get some practice swings in before each shot, instead of addressing and hitting.

Dobber.

May or may not help but I find my timing can go if I rush my backswing and don't complete it. It's like my arms, body and hips have no idea what each other is doing.

I hope it comes back for you sooner rather than later.
