Agreed, the reality is some clubs aren't struggling for membership, and don't seem to care about the extra £5k a year membership. From a common sense / business / personal perspective it seems ridiculous to me, but I went through something earlier in the year with a local club to me effectively...

It's time golf moved with the times. I actually still think he looks pretty smart. Would I wear it, no? But I do think he looks quite cool, and might encourage a few more youngsters in, yes!

I've been fitted for the latest 5H graphite core pencil and I haven't looked back. The HB versions at the club just don't offer me the performance I need for scoring consistently on a hole by hole basis.

Now found out the course is closed until at least Monday! There goes my weekend!! Gutted!!

Had something similar on Thursday. 180yd par 3, that i religiously come up short on with my hybrid. Overshot the green this time and was in the rough behind. Managed to scramble a par, but I was just dumbfounded at how well i struck it! Happened a couple of other times during the round as well.

How do you get one?

Exactly the same for me too, spent time down the range, working hard on my getting the club-face square at impact. Had a bit of a eureka moment on Thursday when playing, and was working on embedding it! Really hope it does me well for 2016... can't wait for the better weather to come back!
