Good evening. It’s been a while.

Hi guys. I am still playing albeit more of a social golfer than trying to get better. When you hit 50 … when 50 hits you things don’t move as easily as they did 20+ years ago. We need a reunion at Goswick I think.

Good evening. It’s been a while.

It’s been a few years since I regularly frequented these halls but I just wondered how many of the old guard still contribute to the forum. Can’t remember my first post or comment but I do recall many a laugh, expletive and taking money off Jezz and Paul O at St Andrews.

    Any doctors in the house?

I went to my GP and he was less than useless. He did offer to write me a line for 4 weeks which made me rather annoyed as it wasn't bad enough to stop me doing my job.

    Any doctors in the house?

Over the last couple of years I have experienced numbness to the outside of my right knee and pain to the inside. Over the last few weeks it has became really sore if I turn/pivot. I am not currently playing so its not golf. Could it be my crutiate?

    Wood burners?

My dealers in Scotland recommend burners should buy wood from the forestry commission. There are a few chainsaw dealers who are also tree surgeons/arborists and can supply enough timber to last you a year. Personally I think timer merchants are cottoning on to the increase in demand for timber...

    Share a random fact......

14th of August 1984, I slipped when diving in at the local swimming pool and broke my neck. (27 years later I met my consultant at Dalmahoy when we were paired together in a four ball and he remembered me as the lucky one) 14th of August 2001, chopped the top of my left index finger off when...

    I did something tonight I haven't done for 30 years ....

I was invited by a customer to participate in their annual golf event at Kelso Golf Club this afternoon. I turned up with a dozen Srixxon Z=stars and a glove as prizes and met up staff and suppliers before the game. I was paired with two staff members I know and we were 3rd last to tee off. All...

    Remember 2000?

The ConDems wer quick to praise the Arab Spring when people protested about greed and exploitation. Let's see what they say when the UK population make their point regarding fuel prices. I fuelled up my Passat last week and it clicked on £102.00.

Possible carnage at the 'Bighoose' tomorrow.

Sorry Alan but I think we are getting our wires crossed. When I referred to you as one if the 2% I meant that you were in the 2% who don't follow the Old Firm because of religion. We have had a few too's and froes over the years and I would never insult you.
