Played it maybe 5 times. I always enjoy it. Lovely Harry Colt course and has been in beautiful nick on all my visits.
Not a big fan of the 18th though. I've messed it every time.
Last week on Fleabay I finally bought a Ping G400 SFT 10 degree driver. A snip at £125.00 and in great nick too.
Took it out twice and I love it. Had been after one for yonks but despite being 6-7 years old they hold their price really well. Normally shift for around £180 - £210.
I like Beato a lot. Great musician and music knowledge in general.
His interview with Sting and Dominic Miller is excellent. You can see Sting really warming to him as it progresses as he twigs Beato knows his stuff.
I knew I should never have read it but I was drawn in like a moth to a flame.:devilish:

You can cruise around up and down from ground to top and back again for 20-40 minutes and get nowhere, yet if someone who just happens to luck out and as...
I'm resurrecting this thread because I have finally emerged out through the other side of this absolute nightmare. Over 2.5 years of woe and frustration is NOW FIXED!!!
How?
I reverted to my original putting grip. I mean how I grip the club - not the grip itself. I always used to have a...
I feel your pain. I have just rejoined our place after coming within an inch of going social. But herself urged me to rejoin as she said I'd miss the craic and my mates. She is of course bang-on correct.
So for that reason alone I think it's worth considering what you might miss. And let's face...
What a performance by Rory.
Handicapped by 6 shots, a triple bogey on his first hole and yet he won through in the end.
Incredible fighter. Totally awesome.
