I would get this checked with your handicap secretary. There is a function for handicaps that lets clubs do an extra adjustment and it happened to me once that i went up 0.2 but turned out someone had pressed the wrong button. I never noticed until I eneded up with a different handicap on...
Once finished 9 ( Par 4) then 13 (par 4) for an 82 and much serious wailing and
gnashing of the teeth - all caused by serious bunker trouble on both holes.
Out in 31 back in 51 for my best and worst 9 holes ever::eek:
When counting putts for a round what do most people count as a putt?
I've always counted any time I use the putter from anywhere as a putt but
a few of my friends only count putts on the putting green for their statistics.
I had a magic day with the wand on Sunday and stats would be 21 putts if...
5 competitions a week if I'm on my days off. !! Sat/Sun/Weds with my home club and Tues/Thurs with an affiliated club.
Leave Monday and Friday to practice without a white card in my pocket. The only problem is a swift rise in the handicap if the swing
goes AWOL
Thanks for the advice. as the greenkeeping plan seems to be to pray it doesn't rain:lol: I'll bring
up rule fans suggestion about a permanent notice of GUR when the bunker is flooded.
Does anyone actually have this at their club as in talks this week it was brought up that a local rule that...
We have a bunker on our course that floods everytime it rains heavily and stays that way for at least a week.
Since it is on a par 3 and catches any slightly pulled iron shot( out of bounds on right) it is a favourite place for me to visit.
If any sand at all is visible do you have to use that...
Go to golf direct and get the tad moore blaster wedge. Its £40 but it's transformed my bunker play and it's easy to use
around the greens too. Always a bonus.
Get insurance and then accidentally clock him next time round,
1 of my pals 3 putted, flicked the ball up and hit it on the volley into the back of the head of another mate.
3 days later did the same again to the same guy, practice makes perfect:D
The DT solo is a brick, NXT is a "medium ball" and ProV1 is a soft ball. For feel purposes keeping exactly the same make doesn't really matter but you should use the same type. There will be a huge difference between using a brick and then going to a soft ball
ie DT solo , srixon distance and...
Seeing your swing for the first time is guaranteed to destroy any delusions of adequacy you may have :(
My long freeflowing, full shoulder turn swing changes to a half to 3/4 swing with the worlds worst delayed hit whenever a video camera is pointed at it. It does work reasonably well though:D
In a nutshell, he's got no chance unless he's a natural or can putt like god.
To get down to single figures is a good goal but the leap from say 9 to 5 is huge
and as for 5 to scratch it's a whole new ball game with only 0.1 per shot under CSS
coming off and only 1 shot above CSS allowed...
