Just to add, I’m not new to golf and this won’t be my first official handicap, I just wasn’t a member for a good few years and only joined again last November.
I am off work and have plenty of time for golf so it seems like an ideal time to get my cards in.
Could anyone tell me if my course would qualify as a full course for handicap purposes? (I’m sure the terminology is wrong)
I need to hand 3 cards in and the only differences to the course are that there are no rakes in bunkers and the holes are only shallow, but the ball still goes in the hole...
Played the Oxfordshire yesterday, tee’s, fairways and greens were in good nick and nice to play on. However half a yard off any of these and it was an absolute bog.
Lost 2 Drives that must have plugged in the mud a yard or so into the first cut, it really was chalk and cheese between the short...
Oh ok, makes sense re shaft weight.
Think I may just chop a bit off my driver then and see how it is, it’s relatively cheap so not taking a huge gamble.
Are there short driver shafts on the market that are correct weight for driver?
It’s a bit of a minefield online!
