I have used them for a while, and to be honest with you, I dont think they make a difference, I think its all a gimmick but I am probably going to continue using them anyway
No, actually i didn't.
They are ok but no different to others.
There isn't a tee on the market that would give extra performance otherwise that's all that would sell.
I got some out of interest and after much testing I can safely say in my opinion they are nothing but a marketing ploy for gullible idiots like me. Stick to wooden ones
Will only use wooden tees, and coloured ones if possible.
They leave a nice little tell tale mark on the bottom of your club that lets you know which way your swing is going
I use black and white zero friction tees and although thats all use so i cant really comment on much distribution advantage i can see they last allot longer than wooden tees. Also they lave a mark on the sole of the club so you can directly see what part of the club the ball is coming off.
Also i think that they are biodegradable so everyones happy
how many pro golfers use anything unless sponsored? It's where the vast majority of their income comes from so mugs like us go out and buy the same kit as our fave golfer. Watch how quickly they change kit when the deal ends and they get offered more cash to play another brand.
I can now confirm that after using them all day there is absolutely NO difference between these and normal tees. Well at least they only cost me £3.00.
I use them for two reasons. The first is that they last sooo much longer than wooden tee's, the way I hit my driver.
The best thing about them, and try this if you have some, is that the actual tee part, one of the three prongs, is really good for getting crap out of the grooves of your irons!!!
