My score yesterday won by 4 clear shots so very happy with that.
Back to earth today with a 78(poor front nine and level on the back) though the wind and sleet made it hard to even feel my hands. I have to say all in all Im quite happy with this weekends escapades
Anyone else get any reward for braving the elements?

As I pointed out in the sour thread, or at least intimated its the point of view whther positive or negative about your performance
For instance four parrs over the first five holes at lichfield that although could have been a mixture of Birdies & a potential eagle chance had it not been for putting & nearly burying my ball with one bad swing & a hybrid on soft turf. I'll forget for a minute the rest of that round for the moment as I had a promising start & shows what I can do & what I need to work on.
The other positive is beating my lower handicap mate by a shot gross on friday around Allestree where I think I might be paying for my ticket this season. Considering too many tree putts & even a 4 putt that I should have gotten down in two I still averaged 2.3 over the round according to the sureshot. 6 greens in regulation 12 out of 13 fairways hit 6 parrs, 4 of them on the back nine. Hardly missed a parr 3 in regulation including hitting the 17th with ease.
best performing clubs in the bag on friday 8 iron & 5 iron
Driver was reletively straight for me.Well actually was drawing too much at times when it went wrong. Nearly drove the 16th.
All positive for this stage of the season I think.
