Some good tracks around Bristol, Kendleshire, Bristol and Clifton, Players, Bowood, Manor at Castle Combe so quite a few to look at. Not sure about Saturday availability, could be tight with comps, etc

Getting in anywhere on a Saturday in the summer is going to be tricky. Broome Manor near Swindon is a very good Pay and Play and is more likely to have free tee times. Not out of the way for any of you. And then not far to get home after your round.
I hope you will post reports here of the courses do you play.
Whereabouts is your accommodation in Swansea?

Opens or not. Great value golf in Wales. I'm at Pennard on 7th for the Pairs Open. Its ages since I played there. Ashburnham is well worth the trip ?

Booked Pennard just now for the Singles Stableford the following day - Wed 8 Sept. So will be in the area - or a beer perhaps...
