It's been a good year for me, probably summed up by saying that my golf has visibly improved!
The highlight was breaking par / breaking 70 for the first time and equalling the course record with a 67. (was preferred lies though so doesn't "count")
Other than that, I won my club championship, played well in most of the county events, got through a few rounds of the "champion of champions", got into a cat 1 handicap for the first time and touched 4 (briefly).
2014, the year I didn't have a single three putt, didn't lose a ball and hardly spent anything on golf equipment....... what a year![]()
Not too bad, back to work now, but still working out every morning in the swimming pool to get as much strength back as possible. Long way to go yet, but I'll get there. Golf still a long way off, even for short game stuff that I'd hoped to be able to do around this time of year. Still, I've got another chance, so, I'll make the most of itHow's the recovery going?
