Your perfect golf course

I'd like to see the course around 6500-6700 yards. A friendly opening par 4 so you can get groups off quicker and not a potential card wrecker like our 229 yard par 3.

I'd like a nice 2 story clubhouse with a decent function room upstairs for societies, wedding etc with a nice comfy bar/restaurant for members downstairs. Top class practice facilities.

Ideally it would be a parkalnd course but with lots of trees making driving important but a fair test to allow you to get it round on "off" days. Decent bunkering, water hazards etc to give you something to think about on every shot and irrespective of which tees you use

Actually it sounds a bit like where HID works. Now if they incorporated rolling up as opposed to having to book times and we could be in business

You've pretty much just described East Sussex National. Except that has two courses, a 3 hole multiple tee academy course and several practice putting/chipping greens. If I could only play at one club for the rest of my life, it would be there.
