Taking the plastic wrapping off feels like sacrilege, those first few practice swings where you make sure they don't do more than graze the grass but then you do the needful and you look down and see that dreaded green hue, you know you can never go back.

I am of course talking about that first time you use those new clubs.

Took my new Cobra 5 and 9i, Cleveland Launcher hybrid and TM 47* wedge to the range last night.

Yes they do.
Usually in the pro shop when you have a practice swish with them and before you've parted with your cash.

After that it's every man for himself
