You only have one course to play forever - where?

Very difficult to decide, but if it has to a course I've played it would have to be The King's at Gleneagles. Not the hardest course I've played, but the most spectacular. The condition of the course is always first class, the scenery superb and you are treated like Royalty.

Aye, to be honest the Kings came third in my mind.

If I'm being realistic though, and a course that was affordable/accessible, then it's Boat of Garten every time.

It would be a toss up between the Machrie and Machrihannish. Both stunning links in beautiful natural terrain but at the same time not overplayed and still easy to get a tee time!

I would have to move house to justify playing there. At least Gleneagles, St. Andrews and Blairgowrie are all within a half hour drive.
I still love Murrayshall/Lynedoch though.

I'd like to think Carnoustie. But in truth, I think it would kill me. Too tough for "everyday" play as far as I am concerned.
So realistically.....Bearwood Lakes.
Tough, but not too tough and one of the best conditioned courses I've ever played.
The missus said if we ever moved that way she'd give me permission to join 'cos she knows how much I love it.
:D :D :D :D

I certainly wouldn't pick one in Scotland, or England to be honest. If it is going to be my only golf course, for ever, I want sunshine. Lots of it. as a result, Pearl Valley in Cape Town. Great course, great views, great wine, sunshine, lovely. Mmmmm.

When can I go?

of those I've played, probably Goswick but I haven't played enough courses yet to really make the choice,

of those I've seen, if only on the net, Les Borges

It would have to be North Berwick West Links. The most fun i've had a on a golf course!

If it was abroad, it'd be Banff Springs in Alberta, Canada. Golf all summer, ski all winter... :)

Not sure but its between Machrahanish , Ballyliffin (Old Links),Royal Portrush (Dunluce) , 3 of the best conditioned and tough courses i've ever played.
