Update --- Seemingly the PC brigade have recently decided The Pogues " Fairytale of New York" is now inappropriate for radio play. After they discovered the word "*** " hidden in the lyrics , after about 30 odd years.:ROFLMAO:
I doubt they'll stop playing it altogether. What are they doing, censoring that line?

Heard the PC version this morning and they’ve changed the offending word to haggot.
I’m sure there are plenty of haggots getting offended by this

I've heard people doing cover versions where they changed it to "you're cheap and you're haggered" - but I didn't think it was possible to change the original, given that Kirsty MacColl who sang it is dead and all.

(well what else would you expect me to say :) )
