Seems like everyone else is arranging meets and we very rarely sort anything. I know Dave (2blue) has organised some good meets before. Missed the last meet with the Ryder cup style comp due to playing with the NW lot.

I'm up for a meet if we can make it happen, need to get a date and format sorted 1st then we can look at sorting a course! The best thing about spring is we should get a game with a course in decent condition.

Anywhere Hammer. Just thought if we tried to get something sorted within the 'Yorkshire' area we could all meet fairly local(ish)to all of us.

Just had a quick look at prices for a few places.
Harrogate do soup/sandwiches plus 18 holes for £40pp
Ganton is £80pp or £45 after 4pm
Flaxby is £30pp
Rudding have a deal on for a 4 ball for £60 Mon - Friday
If we can find a deal or agree on a course we can start looking at the cost or have a day at one of your course's like some of you did with Dave at Leeds.

Only problem I have is that things get very busy as the Club comps kick off & 8-15 league games start.
I know that we're hoping to do a Sun NE v Yorkshire return game with Hobbit, in Sept up at Wynyard GC (about £45 for Coffee/bacon roll, 18 holes & 2 course meal) then a Sun overnight stay in Hartlepool for those who fancy a Mon round at Seaton Carew (my 2nd Club... a cracking links track)
Would there be much interest for this???

Why not look on golf empire for an open day comp 4bbb an get to play a decent course for a lot cheaper than a green fee and the possibility of winning something

Rudding Park is a nice course and a great deal at that price but im easy.
