The 9° Titanium heads
stiff flex Yonex graphite
great condition

Any thoughts on this club? Any thoughts on yonex?

p.s i'm not very good

I liked last years Yonex and got a lot more clubhead speed than with my TM which was a surprise but the ball flight was too high. Yonex also seem to put very cheap looking grips on too which puts me off. I guess the proof of the pudding is to try it out and see if its for you.

You say "I'm not very good" but without knowing your handicap etc I'd be a bit concerned that 9.5 degrees may not give you as much help as say 10.5 or 11 degrees and may cause you a few problems

Was using a Yonex Cyberstar 9% driver (regular shaft)and getting reasonable results.
Changed to 11% loft (Callaway), lost no distance and my accuracy improved.

Lower degree loft certainly doesn't mean more distance but probably means less accuracy.

The only way to find out is to take it down the range and have a go with it

It will either float your boat or it wont

Generally if you are a high handicap 18+ ish them a 9 degree loft is going to be a problem

a 10.5 or 12 loft will generally be better for you

Good luck

Well said.

I'm considering having a 12 degree driver custom built with a 44" shaft and extra weight added to the head to get the swing weight up. Wishon or maybe Orka?

So much depends on your individual swing and speed.

rgd, I visited a clubmaker recently who deals with Orka as I was considering one of these. He said he had never sold an Orka driver but had sold dozens of sets of irons.

Orka are supposedly replacing the entire range of woods next year.
