Yessss...... Board comp win :)

We have 2 "major" board comps each year - the Club Champs, and the Hearn Cup - a straight medal played today.

PLayed to a stratgy of middle of greens instead of flag chasing, didnt sink any birdies, but won by 1 shot with 2 under nett, with 3 guys on 1 under.

Silver cup almost as big as me (that's not hard!).

Won it also in 2008, and in 20 years, only been won twice on one other occasion.

Is it a nice feeling. Won my first board comp ever about 3 weeks ago. Can't wait till the presentation evening for it now. Plenty of board comps left too. Fancy another one
