YEEE HAAA, first scratch 9 holes.

well... it started like this, my cousin text to ask me to play a quick 9 after work.

so i headed straight up and it was windy and rainy.

in the carpark myself and my cousin bumped into a couple of fellas from work. so they asked us to join them and we agreed (now i instantly thought oh dear i hope i dont embarrass myself)

but never fear, i throw a hybrid down the first, flick a wedge to 6 feet and hole for a birdie.

2nd - good drive wedge - 1 foot for birdie holed.

two under after 2 NICE.

i missed birdie putts 3rd 4th 5th and 6th but hey 2 under on the 7th tee so things are still all good.

i proceed to drive straight into a stream boo, take the drop, 3rd to the green, 3putt. double bogie. WICK.

straight forward par on the 8th.

9th is a par 3 nailed it to 10 feet with my 7 iron.

2 putts for my first scratch 9. you know the worst thing? i left first putt on the lip SHORT.

overall delighted with how consistently i struck the ball.

i can play this game (sortof sometimes)

well with a wee bit of practice you wont, ive been playing now for 18months and been a member now for 12 months.

hopefully play well on saturday get this 15 down a bit more.
