After some used Ladies Clubs (cheaper the better)

Been taking the missus to the range and let her have a go with my bats and she's enjoyed so just trying to get a little mix for her to use.

That's my excuse anyway

To put it as bluntly as you did mate, yes...

a couple of irons and a wood would be fine.
She won't be going near a course anytime soon.

My wife started by going to ladies group lessons at a local range.... she got the bug then "most" holidays suddenly become golf ones! Its well worth it...
