Hi everyone :)
Recently I bought myself a set of burner 2.0 irons for a good price of 270.
Oh how bad of a decision that was. It was between them and the g-15's. I preferred the g15's at the time, but the tm's were up there for cheap so I got them. Now, I don't like the feel of them, and they are too heavy. What should I do? I'm 15 so I can't really change like willy hilly.
Advice please ?
Thanks

how come you have g20's in your sig if you are playing burner 2.0?

go back to the nike cavity you have, lovely clubs and I would have them off you if I wasnt skint :)

how many rounds have you played them for? maybe they may take a bit of time to get used to otherwise you are going to have to sell them and take a bit of a loss I'm afraid

Oh sorry, I was going to purchase the, but they would not trade them in. I am feeling nostalgic towards the nike's , I'll see how much golf bidder will take for the tm.
I have had the irons for about 2 months, and haven't hit a shot like I did with the nike's or the pings.
I would go back to the nike's but they have been sold , which was stupid of me

Goto the gym and get some muscle if you find them heavy.

Or you could buy an immaculate set of MP-37's ;-)

The burner 2.0's are known for being heavy ,which I stupidly did not find out before purchasing them. And not to sound "modest" but I am fairly strong :P

didnt mean anything by the sig reference, just remembered you had nikes for sale, now the 2.0's and g20 in the sig, just thought it a bit suspect on 1st glance.

and nowt wrong with Nike clubs fj :)

Leaving the hoo ha about signatures alone (does it really matter what he has in there) my advice would be to go and hit whatever irons you fancy and see which is best. Trade the TM's in and either go back to the Nikes which you clearly enjoyed or try the Pings out properly and see which is best.

Updated sig and put happy now ? As a joke because people were "complaining" about it.
Thanks homer, that's probably the beat thing for me to do right now, will go to local driving range with an ag and hit.

ok thought so but what made you change the clubs that knocked 9 shots off your handicap so quickly

Persevere, you can hit any thing if you try long enough. Just whack it, find it, whack it. You'll be fine. You can think too much about this stuff.

I got my lowest round with my Nike irons, but I had such a bad spell with it and got so angry I decided to change. Had a lesson with old ones, then dropped 9 shots, and then got new ones ! I'm sure they are good clubs, but I just hate them !

I done the same thing years ago . 4 off us had a week in Spain.

I had Nike slingshots at the time and won 4 out of the 6 games swore I'd never change them but 2 weeks later our pro offered me a great deal on a set of callaway x18's which I let my mates talk me into buying.
Even now I still regret changing so stick with what's working for you

Ally, Take them back where you bought them and explain how you feel, ok you may have to take a small hit on them, but in the end you have to feel comfortable over the ball (and confident),I would go for the pings every time, but thats just personal preference, good luck and hope you get sorted....

If you really are not getting on with the TMs then put the Nikes back in your bag for the time being. Why were you changing from the Nikes anyway?!?

If you have a good reason for upgrading the Nikes then sell or trade in your TMs _and_ the Nikes and make sure you take care to check out the next set fully before parting with your cash. Hit them on a range and on the shop simulators, see of you can borrow some from a pro for a few real holes of golf too.
