I am finally going to mizuno in Wrexham for my comp winning custom fit on Thursday morning.
I wondered if anyone can recommend a course close by for a game Wed afternoon? or is anyone up for a game somewhere in the area. The plan is to go down and stop over.
If I don't stop over then I will be looking to play early PM Thurs after I have had the session so same goes for Thurs.

Suggestions please or interested parties

Sorry can't offer a game due to work, but there are plenty of courses in that area. I Have never played Clays course, but it looks nice. The range is quite good there but not much to aim at!

Shame....would have been up for a game. Hope the fitting goes/went well. (I'm working)
It's a good facility, if anyone else should find themselves in this vicinity, I'd recommend Llangollen and/or Llanymynech for a game. There's also Oswestry, just south, which was once voted the friendliest welcome.
TonyN would know about courses north towards Chester way.
t.b.h. the 3 I've mentioned are all well loved by those in the south of the area......

Got back around 3pm. I was really impressed with
1, the site
2, the facilities
3, the custom fit session ( I know I have spoken up for the belfry but I can't fault it today.
4, The range (Tony, I don't know about not enough to aim for. the ranges you use must be pretty impressive)
5, but not least the welcome and friendlyness of all the staff.

I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for CF.

Didn't get to play the course though as I travelled down this morning and came back after the fit and free putting advice after using the indoor video putting facilities.

Overall...... SUPERB.

Oh, almost forgot, I plumped for the MP57 irons, they felt great. Very nearly chose the MP67 but yardage difference between best and worst was too great.

I also had a driver fitting (not part of the prize) and came away with an MP600. Can't wait to try it out on my home course. Stats showed a further 28yds(279) on my current ave of 251 using the vector.

Sounds like a good day all round, Glad you had fun. Is a nice place. The indoor putting room is ace.

The range only has 2 greens with 3 flags on each doesn't it.

At our range we have lots of distance boards, Drum nets, water features and flags.
