Went out to play penultimate round of 13 hole winter league yesterday morning .. lashing it down all sat night & still raining sun morning, so much so we were on all temp greens .. our place take the rain very well but IMO on hindsight the course should have been closed ..

We have the online BRS so most groups are usualy out around the same time each week , got chating to 2 guys that are normaly well gone by the time we get there & wondered had they got later start this week .. No was the reply we are waiting for the rain to ease off & we will go then as some people have cancelled later on .. as it happens it didnt ease off while we were out anyhow .. dont know if they played or not .

Anyhow two of the guys that are in one of the groups behind us got chatting about this afterwards & he was under the opinion as they hadnt removed their names from the time sheet they were disqualified & shouldnt be let play . my opinion was if there is times later & they want to wait so be it .. Would you object to this or not realy care ..

If they are playing in a comp and have a tee time and they change it without permission from the committee...DQ if I remember correctly

If they were still on system and not gone out I say n/r if they had altered system then fine Our brs system let's u change time up to 2hrs before so it is possible to do such if you so wish.
