Mate got his nicked while on hols and was without a set for a few weeks on his return. We split my set and played with half sets each until his new ones came through.

And yes, I would loan my clubs to a friend... Thats what mates are for surely...

It would have to be a good friend, in fact probably only Daveyc2k2 would be allowed. I'd trust him with my new sticks and I'd trust him to replace anything he damaged.

There's only one guy in our swindle I woudn't lend them to. He breaks at least half a doz a year, and buries the heads of many in the turf + slams them, throws them and generally is golf's McEnroe. Might get them back in one piece but would worry they'd been stressed by his slamming antics
