But at the end of the day it’s not the biggest issue in the word

I would expect everyone to respect the rules of the establishment they are entering , if a club asks people to take their hat off then I would hope everyone respect those wishes
100% I would,even though it’s a bit silly & makes no sense.

I’ve yet to hear a sensible answer as to why it’s bad manners tho 🤔

I mean those rules listed in the link are so antiquated, irrelevant and do nothing to prove bad manners.

Also as an ex serviceman you’d know it’s actually bad form for a man or woman to remove their headdress for the national anthem as it shows disrespect to the crown you swore allegiance to. It would also be highly irregular to see a man rock up to a funeral wearing a hat and people put far to much stock in the bearing and importance of a flag so to remove a hat upon seeing one would just be odd!

I would completely respect the rules of wherever I am, but if someone else were offended at me or anyone not removing their hat indoors in general then that’s their fault for being so easily offended about how another human chooses to dress. 🤷🏼

It’s nothing really serious same with the website

This is AI’s answer

But it’s nothing worth worrying about

Why do people straight away saying those who think it’s bad manners to wear a hat indoors have the issue?

It maybe tradition, it maybe the rules, it maybe the way they were brought up.

Things change over time, traditions are lost, new traditions start, whatever.

The people on either side of this are no better than the other side purely because they disagree.

Wear a hat, don’t wear a hat, just respect the rules.

Those rules come from the home of wearing hats indoors, the USA; so obviously they are not followed by anyone where they are supposedly in place.
Their current President seemingly wears hats indoors all the time.
There are many eating and drinking establishments over there where you are in the minority if you are not wearing a hat, as is the case in almost all golf clubs Stateside. This just shows what nonsense can be found via Google.

Have you seen his hair? I’d wear a hat 24/7.
