Seeing as I told you all last week that I managed to go round my local course in par 71, i think it's only fair to tell you how I played yesterday. I played in a stableford comp at Delamere Forrest and I don't think I have played that badly in 3 years. My driving was perfect, you couldn't have split the fairway more evenly if you had used a ruler. The problem came when I came to take my 2nd shot, then 3rd then 4th and then find water which was on a different hole. For some very strange and stupid reason I've started to take about 8-10 inches of turn with the ball, which you all know is crap. It's depressed me all day.

Oh well, back to the range

Been there too! lol. Sometimes I start doing all sorts of amazing things when I have a day where the feeling has gone in my hands, sometimes I cant feel the club there let alone what Im doing with my hands during a swing lol I wish I could just go to a range to sort myself out...luxury lol.

Tough track, Hapless, in terrible weather conditions (front 9), could have happened to anyone.

You can't expect Sunday best stuff on a strange course in a blizzard.

Worse round, hah! you shouldve been with me today, I pulled more times than cassenova, never held one green (winters)and lost 2 balls today in light rough due to excess leaves.lol. How the hell I shot 81 I will never know.

Have you ever shot a decent score yet played crap golf?

Hi intherough

Sorry to hear about the bad round, but alas that’s golf and yet we still go back! I am sure another 71 is on the horizon.

What about Delamere? I played a few weeks back and I thought it was outstanding. Probably one of the best inland courses I have ever played. The greens were special, firm, fast and true, to be honest I thought the whole course was special.. I fell in love with the place.
