I suspect I am going to be advised that how I play is pretty wrong but I've always done this as I find it more natural to me.
For all my irons I use an overlapping grip. For my woods I use a baseball grip.
Should I really try to use the same grip for both?
As a generalization the best part of my game is the woods off the tee and hitting the shorter irons, it's the longer iron's and particularly fairway woods that are the most inconsistent. I am wondering if my baseball grip on the fairway woods is making top them so regularly as I might be scooping them like I tend to do from the tee.
Anyone else do the same as me?
