wireless printer/copier/scanner

I have used Canon printers professionally & personally for years & even the cheaper ones have produced photo quality results on decent paper. I get my compatible inks here https://goinks.co.uk/ & they are perfect.

If you're buying a printer I would suggest one with 5 or 6 separate ink cartridges. You get better reproduction that way & there's less waste. I have NEVER bought OEM inks & never had a problem.

Cheers Bill, It'll only be for light home use, I don't mind paying around £100, any particular model ?

Epson workforce 28xx range aren't bad, I've bought a dozen for folks WFH. They can use non genuine carts from Amazon and works out around 15 quid a set, obviously goes through black ink faster than colours and many sets come with two black carts anyway. The wireless scanning and printing on the Epson app is spot on.

I’ve used Canon, Epson and HP. Canon was the best quality, but ink was expensive, and even more annoyingly, region controlled- I could buy the same original cartridges less than half UK price in Japan but they put a region chip in so they won’t work over here.

That caused me to move to Epson, which had cheaper ink, but after a year or so, they increased their prices significantly.

I went to buy ink and found it was cheaper to buy a whole new HP printer with ink……???

So I did. Stick with HP and sign up to their HP instant ink program. I do the light (https://instantink.hpconnected.com/...VBc93Ch148QY-EAAYASAAEgLgffD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) I can print 15 pages a month which is way more than I need. It was free when I signed up for it, 99p a month now. They automatically send you new ink cartridges as yours run down. Well worth it

I'd go for the latest HP Envy with the instant ink package. I've had trouble free service for some years. My sons and grandkids have a variety of other makes between them and seem to think I've got the best value.

We use the HP ink subscription, very cheap and flexible if you have a very busy month once in a while.

I've been an Espon fan for years.
In fact, just ordered a new Expression Photo XP8600.
£99.00 from Argos.
Limited on space, I love the fact these printers have such a small footprint.
